Abstract:
Based on echo-oculometric measurements of the maximum height of retinal detachments during the first hours and days after surgery without subretinal drainage, using a sound frequency of 12 MHz, final success (24 cases) or failure (2 cases) could be predicted within 24 h at the latest.
