The situation of ET nursing in France
Abstract:
The area of ET nursing has evolved in France from an unfulfilled patient need to a respected specialty nursing practice (Figure 1). ET nurses in France currently complete a formal training program and provide care to a patients with a variety of ostomies. This article summarizes the current situation of ET nursing in France and outlines the goals and plans of this growing group of specialty practice nurses.
