Summary
Diffuse skeletal uptake of technetium-99m sestamibi (99mTc-MIBI) is a common finding in patients. This diffuse bone activity is a normal occurrence and does not indicate malignancy, even in patients with hyperparathyroidism or undergoing cancer staging.
