Avulsion of the popliteus muscle in a malinois dog

Abstract:
A four-month-old malinois was presented for lameness which was attributed to an avulsion of the origin of the popliteus muscle. Surgical repair by internal fixation with a lag screw and washer resulted in resolution of the lameness.
