Comparing resorbable poly(lactic acid)/poly(glycolic acid) membranes to nonresorbable expanded polytetrafluoroethylene membranes for dental implant defects, e-PTFE showed superior bone regeneration. Resorbable membranes offered some benefit over no treatment.
