[The microsomal enzyme system and liver pathology]

The review contains experimental and clinical data concerning diminution of the microsomal enzyme system function, in particular the decrease in the content of the basic components and activity of microsomal redox chains in different types of liver pathology. The molecular mechanisms of the damage and the possibilities of pharmacological correction are discussed.
