Abstract:
Chronic volvulus of the stomach is a relatively rare entity. We present a series of six cases diagnosed over the past 18 months. Three patients underwent surgical treatment by gastropexy alone or with gastrojejunostomy while the other three were managed conservatively. Symptomatic relief was equally good in both groups, in the short term.
