Abstract:
Recent changes to postgraduate medical training and specialist registration in the United Kingdom will affect visiting Australasian doctors. Postgraduate training will be more structured and focused. However, from January 1997 Australasian doctors are likely to find it more difficult to work in substantive (or honorary) specialist posts.
