Abstract
Background:
The endocoagulation of the retina prior to a retinotomy in the upper 180 degrees is difficult using straight endodiathermia probes.
Description Of A New Instrument:
We developed a new angulated endodiathermia probe. The angulation is close to the coagulating tip. This new instrument facilitates the coagulation in the upper 180 degrees of the retina.
