Therapeutic modalities for treatment of peptic ulcer bleeding

We review literature on the use of laser, injection therapy, and thermocoagulation for treatment of peptic ulcer bleeding. These modalities are all similarly effective at improving the outcome of patients with active bleeding, and the particular choice of therapy should be dictated by availability of equipment and the local expertise.
