Abstract:
Remission is now possible for many patients. The underlying aggressiveness of osteoclast-mediated bone resorption can be inhibited- and often abrogated-with the new aminobisphosphonates. Long-term complications of Paget's disease may thus be substantially reduced in frequency and severity.
