Blocking effect of vitamin C in exercise-induced asthma

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) may offer a protective effect for some individuals with exercise-induced asthma (EIA). While not universally effective, it showed promise in mitigating airway hyperreactivity in a subset of patients.
