    Area of Science:

    • Dermatology
    • Oncology
    • Pathology

    Background:

    • Syringomas are benign adnexal tumors originating from sweat ducts.
    • While common on the face and trunk, syringomas rarely occur on the extremities.

    Observation:

    • A unique case of multiple acral syringomas is presented.
    • The lesions appeared as symmetrical, grouped erythematous papules.
    • The papules were specifically located on the dorsum of the proximal and middle phalanges of both hands in a young male patient.

    Findings:

    • This represents the first documented instance of syringoma affecting the hands.
    • The clinical presentation involved distinct papular lesions on the digits.

    Implications:

    • Acral syringomas should be considered in the differential diagnosis of papular lesions on the hands.
    • This finding expands the known clinical spectrum and anatomical distribution of syringomas.
