A novel approach to providing children's dentistry in general dental practice

Although more dentists are deciding to specialize in one specific area, these specialist subjects tend to deal with adult treatments. Few choose to specialize in children's dentistry. In this article, Dr A Crawford and Mr P Shaw, put forward a system whereby high quality and cost effective dentistry can be provided for children in the practice using the principles of purchaser/provider.
