Summary

Saline infusion sonohysterography (SIS) is an effective gynecological diagnostic tool for abnormal uterine bleeding and other conditions. This outpatient procedure offers improved diagnostic accuracy compared to traditional ultrasound and can avoid the need for hysteroscopy.
