Summary

Subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus (SCLE) is a variant of Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) primarily affecting middle-aged women, presenting with skin lesions and photosensitivity. Hydroxychloroquine treatment is often effective for this condition, which can mimic other autoimmune diseases.
