[Surgical treatment of peptic ulcer associated with chronic duodenal obstruction]

Results of treatment of 333 patients with duodenal ulcer disease (DUD) combined with chronic duodenal impassability (DDI) were analyzed. Principles of surgical tactics choice were expounded, and indications for the operation were substantiated. Postoperative complications occurred in 9.3% of patients. Improvement of surgical results was promoted by application of an adequate procedure with chronic duodenal impassability correction.
