Eight weeks in Warsaw

In October and November 1996 I worked for 8 weeks in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, Institute of Stomatology, Medical Academy of Warsaw, Poland, at the invitation of the Head of Department, Professor E Spiechowicz. My objective was to carry out an academic audit of the teaching of partial denture prosthetics.
