Health care accountability: communicating quality to the public

For many years a revolution has been taking place in the area of health care accountability. Making those in health care accountable by evaluating their quality and then communicating that quality effectively to the public (purchasers and consumers) is a major task facing the industry today. This article provides an overview of current initiatives that are attempting to communicate quality to the public.
