    Summary

    Malignant neoplasms frequently spread to the sternum, causing pathological fractures. These fractures show greater deformity and slower healing than traumatic fractures, detectable via post-mortem radiography.

    Background:

    • Malignant neoplasms are a significant cause of morbidity and mortality.

    • To determine the incidence of sternal metastases from malignant neoplasms.
