Summary
Color Doppler flow imaging effectively diagnosed an orbital varix, a vascular lesion that was difficult to detect with other imaging methods. This technique is recommended for diagnosing intraorbital vascular lesions.
Area of Science:
- Ophthalmology
- Radiology
- Vascular Imaging
Background:
- Orbital varices are rare vascular malformations.
- Diagnosis can be challenging due to their occult nature.
