Video production skills--a must in the physical therapy curriculum

Videos are used frequently now in education and in patient and peer training; however, video production skills are not often taught in the health science curriculum. A poor video can do more harm than no video. Therefore, a teaching unit in the University of Louisville Physical Therapy curriculum was created to expose students to the basics of video production and editing techniques. This article presents a brief overview of video production and the development and experience of the teaching unit.
