Abstract
Purpose:
Early and late evaluation of no-stitch cataract phacoemulsification with tunnel incision.
Setting:
Department of Ophthalmology, Bydgoszcz.
Material And Methods:
No-stitch phacoemulsification of cataract with sclero-corneal tunnel incision. Foldable PC IOL were implanted in 40 eyes of patients between 30-67 years of age. Observation period: 1-5 years.
Results:
Very good anatomical and functional results. Fast visual rehabilitation.
Conclusions:
No-stitch cataract surgery: phacoemulsification with implantation of foldable PC IOL through tunnel incision is a method worth wide recommendation.
