Abstract:
Presented is a basic care plan that nurses should put into practice before and after cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Besides the typical resuscitation maneuvers, all health care professionals should know and be able to evaluate the possible complications that could arise so that they can detect them beforehand and plan their prevention. Also explained are details regarding ways to help the patient and his/her family cope with this physical and emotional crisis.
