[Craniocerebral injuries as a risk factor in the occurrence of epilepsy]

Abstract:
Results of experimental investigations of the convulsive readiness and risk factors of traumatic epilepsy occurrence using the mild craniocerebral trauma (mCCT) model are adduced. The dynamics of convulsive readiness of traumatic origin was studied up in experimental animals (rats) in the late period after (mCCT), and also the stimulating influences of an excessive mechanical loadings, chronic alcoholization and deprivation as a promotions of increased risk for the persistent pathological status occurrence. Results of investigations witnesses that the combined risk factors action makes (mCCT) sufficient etiological factor for traumatic epilepsy.
