The development of a community-based nursing practice: shifting the focus to health promotion

Developing guidelines for a community-based nursing group practice is a challenge for nursing professionals. Yet the benefits from the development of these guidelines can contribute to increased professionalism among nurses and accountability in nursing practice. In this article, the author describes the development of guidelines. The goal is for the development of guidelines based on health promotion.
