Rotational Analysis of the 0-0 Band of the a3Pi-X1Sigma+ Transition of AlCl
1Spectroscopy Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, Mumbai, 400 085, India
Abstract:
The 0-0 band of the a3Pi-X1Sigma+ transition of AlCl at 4073.6 A has been photographed at high resolution and an unambiguous analysis of its rotational structure is presented. Precise values of the rotational constants of the a3Pi state have been determined. Copyright 1998 Academic Press. Copyright 1998Academic Press

¹H NMR: Complex Splitting
Splitting diagrams or splitting tree diagrams are routinely used to depict such complex couplings. While drawing splitting diagrams, the splitting with the larger coupling constant is usually applied first.

Thermal Sigmatropic Reactions: Overview
Sigmatropic shifts are classified based on an order term [i, j ], where i and j indicate the number of atoms across which each end of the σ bond migrates. Below are examples of a [3,3] sigmatropic shift in 1,5-hexadiene, referred to as...
