Abstract:
Hormones of the pineal gland play an important part in regulation of the organism biological rhythms. Age-dependent alterations of the epiphysis are essential for the processes of ageing of the organism. Its geroprotective effect involves participation of its hormones in the system of the organism antioxidant protection.
