Abstract:
We could introduce the following lay activities within the activities of our scientific institute (that is in the title) in collaboration with a neuro-rehabilitation-unit. 1) Weekly visits of a group of senior-scouts. 2) Weekly visits of a pupils group (aged 14), that came as volunteers from an experimental school. 3) A guitar teacher. 4) A student group in advanced education. All together the effect was positive in the sense of ameliorating the human communicative climate within the unit. We however must warn that such measures are considered a "help in work" for the staff. Contrarily gives the supervision of the active lay people an additional task, which however diminishes as the routine advances. It is essential to have a coordinating person who is completely responsible, highly engaged, and interested in the matter.
