[Feminon N in the treatment of menopausal symptoms]

20 postmenopausal women (natural or surgical menopause) were treated with homeopathic preparation Feminion N. Women were between 36 and 55 years. The aim of therapy was the decrease of the menopausal symptoms. This therapy lasted 6 months. We estimated climacteric index (according to Green), FSH, estradiol levels and cytohormonal smear before starting of therapy and after 6 months of therapy. The climacteric index and FSH levels were significantly lower after 6 month therapy than before treatment. We did not notice significant differences in estradiol levels, cytohormonal smear between initial study and after 6 months.
