Electrochemical microleakage assessment of three different root canal obturation techniques

This study compared microleakage of lateral condensation, Thermafil and multiphase gutta-percha obturation technique using an electrochemical test system. The mean leakage current of three obturation techniques compared with that of positive samples. It was found that, the multiphase gutta-percha showed the least mean leakage current followed by Thermafil and lateral condensation techniques.
