Summary

Adoptive immunotherapy using interleukin 2 (IL-2) and lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cells combined with surgery and chemotherapy significantly improves survival rates for non-small cell lung cancer patients. This multimodality approach addresses limitations of traditional therapies by targeting micrometastases.
