Summary

Patients preferred topical (TA) and sub-Tenon's (STA) anesthesia over retro/peribulbar (RBA) for cataract surgery, despite RBA causing less intraoperative pain. Patient preference for TA and STA was driven by avoiding the discomfort of RBA injections.
