[Implantation of silicone intraocular lenses--long-term results]

The author reports long time experience with implantation of silicone intraocular lenses. Briefly is described surgical technique, mainly the most common methods of folding of silicone intraocular lenses. Discussion concerns peroperative and postoperative complications and evaluation of the results after 3 years follow up.
