N-thiobenzoylsuccinimide as thioacylating reagent in the sequential analysis of peptides by the solid phase technique

N-Thiobenzoylsuccinimide is synthesized and proposed as a new thioacylating reagent. Its use in sequential solid phase degradation of peptides is examined.
