The Stone operation: a clinical review of seven years' experience

A series of 46 patients who underwent 78 first metatarso-phalangeal operations is reported. The procedure for the Stone operation is detailed. The Stone operation is a satisfactory procedure in the surgical treatment of hallux valgus and hallux rigidus.
