Summary

Interleukin-2 (IL-2) and Interleukin-6 (IL-6) administration induced distinct behavioral activation in mice, unlike Interleukin-1 (IL-1). These cytokine-specific effects may relate to sickness behavior but could lead to pathology if dysregulated.
