Evolution of a knowledge base for a clinical decision support system encoded in the Arden Syntax

Maintaining clinical decision support systems (CDSS) requires significant knowledge base (KB) updates. Analysis of 156 medical logic modules (MLMs) revealed over 5,500 statement changes, highlighting the dynamic nature of CDSS KBs.
