  • El trastorno límite de la personalidad (TPB) se define por una inestabilidad generalizada en la regulación afectiva, el control de los impulsos, las relaciones interpersonales y la autoimagen.
  • Las principales manifestaciones clínicas incluyen desregulación emocional, agresión impulsiva, autolesiones y tendencias suicidas, lo que lleva a la utilización frecuente de servicios de salud mental.
  • La etiología es multifactorial, con predisposiciones genéticas y experiencias adversas de la infancia como el abuso que juegan un papel importante.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Para resumir la comprensión actual del trastorno límite de la personalidad (TPB).
  • Para resaltar las modalidades efectivas de tratamiento e identificar las áreas que requieren una mayor investigación.
