  • Existe una investigación limitada sobre las experiencias de los profesionales con las revisiones de incidentes críticos a nivel de sistema en salud conductual.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Explorar las percepciones de los profesionales sobre una herramienta de revisión de incidentes críticos en un entorno de salud conductual.
  • Comprender cómo el aprendizaje de incidentes críticos influye en la práctica y la cultura de seguridad.

Principales métodos:

  • Estudio de métodos mixtos que involucra encuestas y entrevistas.
  • Participaron profesionales de una gran agencia de salud conductual de California.
  • Se utilizó la Herramienta de Mejora de Sistemas Seguros para revisar incidentes críticos (suicidios, sobredosis, cuasi accidentes).

Principales resultados:

  • Las revisiones efectivas agregan datos, promueven la evaluación abierta e impulsan el cambio cultural.
