Abstract:
The inhibitory action of the adrenergic fibers of the splanchnic nerve on the speed of diuresis, filtration, maximum secretion, potassium excretion in the kidney disappeared at the side of the stimulation and blood flow in both kidneys in dogs given high reserpine doses. The animals developed hyponatriemia, hyperkaliemia and oliguria.
