[Betamethasone acetate in the therapy of epicondylitis]
Abstract:
The advantages of cortisone therapy in the particular pathology of the elbow are evaluated, with special reference to humeral epicondylitis. After an outline of the mechanism of action of steroids, consideration is given to the advantages arising from use of a delayed action cortisone product. Reference is made to the relevant literature on the subject, together with a report on personal cases.
