Infantile and juvenile scoliosis

The diagnosis and treatment of scoliosis in the infantile and juvenile age groups is a challenging and demanding endeavor. The diagnosis must be firmly established. Once a deformity has proven to be progressive, surgical intervention will likely be necessary because orthotic treatment is less effective in these cases.
