Abstract:
Relapse prevention strategies and techniques are integral to cognitive-behavioral couples sex therapy and of special importance in maintaining sexual desire. Sexual avoidance is poison for desire. Specific relapse prevention techniques are described. A case study examines a successful application. Using booster and follow-up sessions maintains accountability to each other and to therapeutic goals.
