[The immunological background of the allergen vaccines application]

The review and critical estimation of the studies concerning the mechanism of action of SIT was performed. The presented data give the reasons to view the allergen vaccines as the immunomodulators motivating simultaneously the applicability of these agents as the causative treatment of the allergic diseases.
