    • Sympathetic nervous system dysfunction in Down syndrome appears to be specific to the sudomotor subdivision.
    • Reduced sudomotor sympathetic activity may contribute to attention and recognition deficits in DS.
    • Further research is warranted to understand the implications of sudomotor dysfunction in DS.
