Summary

Polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) affects 4% of Caucasian patients with occult choroidal neovascularization (CNV). Treatment outcomes for PCV vary, with peripapillary lesions showing better results than macular or arcade lesions after laser photocoagulation.
