Abstract:
This article was designed to celebrate and highlight contributions of nurse researchers to the care of children, adolescents, and families across healthcare settings and to provide direction for future research focused on our ultimate goal of optimizing health and healthcare for the consumers of our services. It focuses on the past 25 years of pediatric nursing research, which have witnessed substantial advances in the conceptualization, design, and methods of nursing research focused on children, adolescents, and families.
