Abstract:
Procedures such as bronchoscopy, bronchial brushing, pleural needle biopsy, mediastinoscopy, and percutaneous aspiration and trephine needle biopsy afford the specialist in pulmonary medicine a wide diagnostic armamentarium and considerable flexibility in the diagnostic management of patients with metastatic lung disease.
