Neovascular glaucoma in a university clinic

A comparative survey of 100 consecutive clinic and private glaucoma patients was made in an attempt to determine the nature of these populations. Secondary glaucoma was found four times more frequently in the clinic group. The most common secondary form was neovascular glaucoma. This discouraging entity was reviewed with regard to etiology, pathogenesis, and management.
